UITC Symposium ScopeThe International UITC Symposium provides a forum for discussing the state-of-the-art, new directions of technology, and research opportunities in ultrasonic imaging and characterization of tissues. This unique meeting affords physicians, engineers, and physical and biomedical scientists a unique venue for sharing their contributions to this important developing area of medical-imaging research.
UITC Symposium MissionThe UITC Symposium solicits papers on: 1. techniques for measuring ultrasonic properties of tissue (velocity, attenuation, scattering, nonlinear effects, etc.); 2. Doppler techniques; 3. signal processing and pattern recognition; 4. ultrasonic characteristics of tissue and the dependence of ultrasound parameters on physical and biological variables; and 5. very-high-frequency ultrasound, including transducer and array technology. High-quality research papers involving clinical trials of new techniques and instrumentation or new clinical applications of existing technology also are welcome. See the 2010 Announcement, the 2009 Program , the 2008 Abstracts , the 2007 Abstracts , and the 2006 Abstracts pages on this web site for more information.
